The official flag of Wallis and Futuna is the French national flag as it is a French territory. The unofficial flag of Wallis and Futuna features a red saltire on a white square, on a red field (alternatively, a larger white cross). The Wallis and Futuna flag is generally only used locally as it is an unofficial flag, however it does bear the French flag in the canton.
